This place has been operating for a long while and for a very good reason. Each seating booth has a jukebox. I'm not sure if it works, but it adds to the decor. The place looks retro and homey and with a nostalgic smell. Got steak and 3 eggs and meat lover's dish. The steak is 8oz, and the home fries here are roughly chopped potatoes, which I liked a lot more than the typical deep-fried taters. The servers were friendly. Loved everything about my experience here. Can't wait to come back for more.
I had breakfast yesterday at Three Coins Open Kitchen and it was an excellent experience. Katelin was our server and she was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The service was fast, the food arrived on time, and everything was delicious. I also want to give a big shoutout to the three guys in the kitchen — they’re doing an amazing job. The food was well-prepared and tasty. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for a great breakfast and welcoming atmosphere!
Great staff, food and prices!! We went there 2 days in a row while in town visiting. Very fast service we were in and out in less than 40 minutes. The best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had. Would go there more often if I didn’t live so far away!
Richmond born and raised, 31 years here and only visited today for the first time and it definitely didn't disappoint. Frankly, I haven't had a good combo of friendly and joyous staff along with reasonablypriced food since prior to covid. 10/10 would recommend getting the hash!
For those mornings that you need an extra boost. Pancakes are A little pricey tho, 27 after taxes and tips for one person is a bit of a bite.
Came in for an early lunch on a Saturday. Was able to be seated right away, which was good considering there was a line up shortly after I arrived. Had the Meat Lovers Mix and it was very very good. Comes with three eggs and was able to get 2 over easy and 1 hard fried....great work chefs! Will definitely be coming back
The best diner in town! We've been coming here every weekend for years. But come early, they close at 3pm every day and there's always a line up if you're thinking of brunch. An open kitchen, with vintage decor, awesome staff and very consistent yummy food. Where can you get perfect steak and eggs for 17.99???? Parking at the front street side or there's a parking lot at the back with the entrance from the back as well.
We have been to 3 Coins Open Kitchen & Breakfast and Lunch in Richmond Hill several times, and it’s always an amazing experience! This cozy little spot has become one of our go-to places for breakfast and lunch, and it never disappoints. The food here is consistently fantastic. Everything tastes homemade and fresh, with that comforting, old-style diner vibe. Whether it’s their fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, or golden hash browns, every dish is cooked perfectly. Their pancakes are a standout, light, airy, and just the right touch of sweetness. The portions are generous, and you leave feeling satisfied without feeling overly stuffed. What makes this place even more special is the outstanding customer service. The staff are always so warm and welcoming, treating you like family from the moment you walk in. They’re attentive without being overbearing, making sure you have everything you need for a pleasant meal. It’s clear they care about their customers, and it really adds to the overall experience. The atmosphere is another reason we keep coming back. It’s got that nostalgic, old-style diner charm that’s hard to find these days. The open kitchen, retro decor, and laid-back vibe make it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a hearty meal. It feels like a step back in time in the best way possible. If you’re looking for a place with great food, exceptional service, and a classic diner feel, 3 Coins is an absolute must-visit. We’ve been here several times and will continue to come back for more! Highly recommended for anyone in Richmond Hill or just passing through, this gem is worth it!
